LASANG CHRISTMAS EVENTS AND GREETINGS

We have just finished our midnight Mass in the parish and I wuold like to convey to you and the rest of the Sisters in the compound our fraternal Christmas greetings and wishes. May the celebration of the Birthday of our Savior be a strong impetus to let Christ be truly born in our hearts through our loving concern and attention to our brothers and sisters most especially the poor. For us here, in Lasang, we had the opportunity to concretize our love and concern to our most needy brothers and sisters. Last December 17 we shared to 200 very poor students of Navarro National High rice, canned goods and noodles. At least they will be able to celerbate Christmas with their families with what they received. December 23 was a memorable to 65 "trisikad" drivers who attended the recollection. it was a half day recollection but they were happy and contented with their experience. After the recollection we gave each one rice, canned goods, noodles and soap. Aside from these things that were given to them, we also had rafffles that gave them the chances to win and all of them received prizes. Tomorrow we will have lunch with three very poor families. This is a concrete way of letting these people experience the true spirit of joy of Christmas.
