GRADUATION CEREMONY OF THE LUMAD CHILDREN

The members of the F.I.Lay Educators Associates (F.I.L.E.A) from Stella Maris Academy of Davao,headed by Mrs.Ester Freire, with Sr. Eufemia Solleza went to Malabog to grace the graduation ceremony of the "Lumad" or native children.  Ms. Fatima Salig, a F.I.L.E.A. member, gave an inspirational talk to them. Then, school supplies, t-shirts, and pairs of slippers were distributed to them as presents from the F.I.L.E.A. members. After the program, food was served  which was also prepared by the F.I.L.E.A. members, to all the Lumads, children and their parents, and all the guests.

Being with our Lumad brothers and sisters was a very enriching experience for all of us, F.I.L.E.A. members. This made us realize that God has blessed us so much, and that we need to continue sharing these blessings to our less fortunate brothers and sisters.
