Dear Sister Georgita,
Our heartfelt thanks and gratitude for the financial aid you had given us, as flood victims. This amount would be a great help to start our life anew.
May God return your kindness a thousand-fold. More power to you and to all the benefactors behind this cause. Thank you very much.
Respectfully yours
Mrs. Azucena Tumulak

Dear Sr. Georgette, F.I.,
Greetings of PEACE!
Flashflood … although destructive, but it made us- realize many things, one of these is: GOD HAS A MESSAGE. Our properties had been destroyed, our kitchen had been washed away and two of our family members have been carried away by the tremendous flood that until now they couldn’t be retrieved. But GOD is our REFUGE, we are at least consoled and felt much better for we have the Hijas de Jesus Sisters and SJCHS Faculty and Staff by our side.
Thank you for letting us feel the loving embrace and care of Jesus!
May God bless us all!
With gratitude,
Faith Perida
SJCHS Faculty Member & family
Dear Hijas de Jesus Sisters,
Madamu gid nga SALAMAT! God bless you!
PLEASE include in your prayers the souls of our departed loved ones who were carried away by the flood.

Dear Sr. Georgette,
Peace!
First of all, I want to say thank you so much for sharing some amount with me and my family. We suffered a lot because of the typhoon. The flood reached almost the rooftop of our house. We stayed for one night and two days at the rooftop without food and water. All our things were destroyed. After the water subsided, we found few clothes and we slept on the floor. My mother got sick because of muddy surrounding.
We are very thankful because despite the calamity, we have been saved. Sister, I would like to say thank you for sharing your blessings especially to my mother and me. May the Lord continue to give more blessings to you.
Sincerely yours,
Roxanne Barrera
Dear Sister Georgita,

We really appreciate your benevolent help and support to our school. May the Hijas Community constinuously extend its unceasing help to those who are in need. God bless you, your family and your community.

The recent Typhoon Frank brought much sorrow and loss to our brothers and sisters, particularly to the teachers and students of the Hijas de Jesus schools in Iloilo. Nevertheless, it has evoked something very positive, in that it has summoned the pupils and students of Sacred Heart School Hijas de Jesus in Cebu City to express their generosity and solidarity with the suffering. Upon the initiative of the school's student council, in just three days, they were able to raise funds as their love offering. Yet, it is still a long road to recovery; there is much to be done. Let us all continue to pray and extend our help in whatever way we can. In the end, it is all in God's Hands. May His infinite love and mercy strengthen and guide, enlighten and empower the people of Iloilo and the rest of Panay Island unto the path of healing and a new beginning.

Dear Sisters,
I informed Mother General of the current situation we are
experiencing in the country, especially in Iloilo where the fury
of typhoon Frank sowed destruction of our lives, homes and
surroundings. She assures us of her prayers and that of the
other Sisters especially in the Generalate/Curia in Rome.
Here are some notes from them and that while most are in Spanish,
I am sure everyone understands. Anyway, the hearts sees
what seems invisible to the eye. Let us remain united in prayer
and in hope, that our people will soon pick the pieces of
their harshly interrupted lives and continue to look forward
to better times, while collaborating in the care and wise
stewardship of the goods of the earth.
Georgette
