Dear Sr. Georgette,

Salamat gid and God bless!

Fiorals-Dev of Tubos Community.

Dear Sr. Georgette,
Maayong adlaw!

Happy Feast Day sa tanan nga Hijas de Jesus!

FIORALS-Dev,
Catarman, Camiguin Island.

DEAR SR. HORMILLOSA,

Blessing in the Lord!

Typhoon "Frank" may have destroyed many homes and livelihood. It may have caused so much lives and property. But for sure, this catastrophe has not destroyed our spirit of compassion and out witness to love.

The Archdiocese of Jaro sends to you and your community our sincere gratitude for the help you have extended our brothers and sisters here in Iloilo whow ere victims of this tragedy. While relief operations continue, weneed to go beyond and face the task of building lives, spreading hope. The work of rehabilitation has to be embraced. Rehabilitation work includes providing materials for housing to the poorest of the poor, providing an initial help for their livelihood (Start up capital for small business, availability of seeds for farming, farming animals, etc.).

Truly we share, we make God's presence more alive in our lives! God bless you!

Devotedly yours in Christ,

Dear Sr. Gette,
I am very thankful for the financial help that the whole
Hijas de Jesus family had extended to me and to my family
when we were badly hit by typhoon Frank. I never wished to
be a victim just to be a recipient of this big amount but
my family is deeply touched by your gesture to help us and
to make us sustainable for some months after the calamity.
This is a clear manifestation of Mo. Candida's virtue
of filiation-fraternity. In behalf of my family, I thank
 you for all these.

Dear Hijas de Jesus of CHJ Iloilo City,

Typhoon Frank which severely hit Iloilo and other provinces in Panay Island last June 21, 2008 brought not only vast calamity but also immeasurable goodness of God. Immediately after that tragic calamity, God manifested his great love by touching people's heart to organize and generate support for the typhoon victims.
It is in this context that my heart is indeed touched by the kindness of all people who in one way or the other have helped the flood victims particularly my wife, Elsie and my kids. Because during that fateful day I was in Tarlac, where I am assigned. I am thankful to the CHJ sisters as well as the CHJ PTA Inc who initiated such praiseworthy action. I am also thankful for the financial aid extended to us by the Hijas de Jesus Provincial office. All your financial, spiritual, and emotional supports have surely made our difficulties easy to bear.
May the generosity and love you've shown will return to you a hundredfold.

In behalf of my family, from my heart, THANK YOU and GOD SPEED!

Roland Palomar

To all the Sisters,

Greetings of Peace and thanksgiving!
With joy we express to all of you our most profound and sincere
gratitude for your gestures of love, concern and generosity to the
victims of the flash flood in Maasin, Iloilo especially to the families of
our Sisters, teachers and students. We are saddened by their
situation as the consequence of the devastation but your oneness
with us in prayers and expression of sympathy, monetary and
material aids had greatly alleviated their suffering and anguish.
Thank you very much, Sisters, and may the Lord of goodness repay
your generosity and fraternal attention.

Gratefully yours,
Sr. Florencia Constantino, F.I.

of this community. May God bless you all!

Dear Sr. Georgette,
The F.I.L.E of Stella Maris Academy of Davao had beautiful memories of their visits to Iloilo particularly Guimaras, Maasin, Pototan and Iloilo City. The gestures of love, kindness and hospitality truly marked the charism imbued to us by Blessed Candida. The FILE representatives who had experienced that encounter expressed their joy and gratitude for the great time they spent with the co-FILE members. After such an experience, we were, however, shocked and dismayed over the calamity which had beset the beautiful towns, schools and homes we had seen and where we enjoyed the company of the Sisters and teachers. We know that the pain of loss of loved ones and of destroyed properties which they felt could not easily be forgotten.

It is with our deepest sympathy and sadness that we remember all of you, the Sisters, the teachers and their loved ones. We sincerely pray that our loving God will bless you always with a renewed hope
and strength to bear these trials and to move on towards rehabilitation and normalcy.

With our love...

F.I.L.E. and LMVP
Davao City

Dear Sr. Georgette, F.I.,

The Stella Maris Academy of Davao Educative community (the sisters, faculty, staff and students) is one in prayers for the healing and recovery of all the victims and casualties of typhoon Frank especially to our sister schools in Iloilo. The calamity has reminded every Marisian to be thankful to God for one's life. As a response, the Marisians have raised funds to be able to help and also solicited old(but usable) school uniforms which the students in Pototan and Maasin can use. In this small way, we are able to extend a hand to
our brothers and sisters, which Mother Candida has always taught us. We continue to pray that in time all will be well for our brothers and sisters in Iloilo.
