THE YOCHIEN OF HAYAMA'S BAZAAR FOR THE POOR AND THE NEEDY
The Yochien of Hayama held a bazaar last September 21, 2008 in which the parents, teachers and students , together with the Sisters worked hard to raise money for the poor and needy of Third World countries.
One of the sweets that were sold was the “Banana Turon” that two teachers ate when they had their exposure in Camiguin last year. They liked it so much that they learned how to make it as in photos below.
THE ART OF MAKING "BANANA TURON" :

Making the dough in which to wrap the banana.

Frying the "Banana Turon"

Selling the Banana Turon
The Philippine Province received a very generous donation from the proceeds of the bazaar.
